Does anyone have some good putting tips for golf?
(not mini golf)
lol

nineadmin answers:
As was already mentioned, make sure everything is in alignment: toes, knees, hips, shoulders, and eyes. Try to get your eyes right over the putting line.
Next, use the big muscles of the back and shoulders to strike the ball. Don’t get your wrists or hands involved in the stroke.
You might also try different gripping methods like left-hand low or the claw.
During practice, try putting while looking at the hole, not the ball.
Make sure the stroke makes the ball roll end over end without skipping.

Any Golf Putting Tips?
I suck at putting. Especially reads and speed! 3 put is my middle name. Any advice?

nineadmin answers:
Well, 3 Putt, there are a lot of things you can do to get better at putting. The best thing you can do is hit the practice green. Spend a couple of hours there. Start with short putts and get some success under your belt. The more successes the better your confidence. The better your confidence the better your putting.
Start with 3 foot shots from every angle to the hole. Sink three putts in a row from all spots. Then go out to 5 feet and repeat.
You need to learn your distance; how far back and forward your stroke needs to travel for different distances on a level area. Once you know how to hit a 5 foot, 10 foot, 25 foot, etc. Length putt, you can start working on the uphill and downhill putts. Learn those distances as well.
Reading greens is a whole lesson in itself. Too much to discuss here. Check out the link below.

Joseph asks…
Can anyone give me tips for putting on the golf course??
Can anyone help me on the greens I will hit the ball and it will go right pass the whole anyone have any tips???

nineadmin answers:
There are a couple of basic things in putting to make sure you are doing. Make sure that you are following these…
1. Your ball should be center of your stance or forward, do not have it backward.
2. You should have no wrist movement.
3. Your swing should be all shoulders.
4. Your body (with the exception of your shoulders / upper body) should remain still.
5. Do the exact same routine EVERY time (you will notice that all professionals mark their ball and clean it, even if it’s not dirty), take the same # of practice strokes before, etc.
6.Visualize during your practice swing the exact path and finish point you want your ball to take.
7. Using the above techniques, practice. 100 putts a week or more and you’ll get better.

Michael asks…
How to improve my putting in golf?
Ok, so when I go golfing I usually shoot in the low hundreds on 18 holes. I usually reach a par 4 in two shots and then go on to 4 putt for a double bogey. If I were to 2 putt I would obviously get a par. As you can see, putting is the whole problem in my golf game. So what are some tips on putting and how can I improve? Thank you.

nineadmin answers:
First, choose a putt type. Some players like a straight-back-straight-through stroke, meaning the club stays square to the ball and stays in line with the ball all the way through, and other players putt with an arc, meaning the club face opens and comes closer to your body during the backswing, and closes and comes closer to your body on the follow-though. If you’re just putting randomly, you’re not going to get anywhere. Choose one of those two teqniques, which ever you feel more comfortable with and do better with.
To putt well you have to be able to read greens well. Analyze the putt from all angles, to get a sense of the speed and break of the putt. Then it’s all about being smooth with your putting stroke. I recommend having the same distance on both sides of the ball….for example, you swing your putting back 3 inches, and it also goes 3 inches on the follow through, after you hit the ball.
This should be a good start. Putting is pretty simple, you just have to learn how to read greens well, and have a smooth putting stroke and you’ll start making those putts. Good luck!
