Ballamor Golf Club was a premiere private golf course for 7 years before turning public this year. The course features 5 sets of tees giant fast greens. Fairways are lined with Fescue after about 20 feet of rough. Wide rolling fairways and perfect conditions await you. I was a member here for years, the layout is just unreal!
Atlantic City Country Club is the most historic golf course in the region.You may not know that the term “Birdie” was coined on the 18th hole at Atlantic City Country in 1898. John J McDermott was the pro at Atlantic City CC when he won the US Open in 1911 and 1912.
Twisted Dune Golf Club is carved from a sand quarry and boasts large changes in elevation, lots of mounds and dune grass along with beautiful fast greens. Vineyards at Renault Winery is the newest course to be built in the South Jersey Region and is a recommended stop in the Atlantic City area. The course features large greens, wide fairways, water in perfect places, bunkers in not good places LOL and some incredible holes, especially the one over the Vineyards No driving range here but generally offers a practice net to get loose.
Cape May National is located down in Southern New Jersey about 25 minutes from AC.The layout is designed on a natural piece of land surrounded by parks and bird sanctuary’s, nature is everywhere on this course. Cape May National is family run, Zach runs the pro shop and Jennifer the groups and F & B, John Applegate is the Philadelphia section PGA pro.
McCullough’s Emerald Links is a Scottish links style course with lots of changes in elevation. Built on a former dump, the course will actually surprise you. Very cool layout with tricky holes. A few blind shots make the course fun, just remember to aim at the tower when you get to the back nine. You’ll also two great down hill driving holes that are sure to capture your imagination.
Seaview Golf Resort has 2 courses the Pines and the Bay Course. The Pines reminds you of Pinehurst in every way, the Bay course is a meadow front courses links style course overlooking the Atlantic City skyline.
